Kemble Extension & Loft Conversion

This extensive two-storey extension and loft conversion project delivered a complete transformation of the existing property, significantly increasing both its footprint and functional living space. The works included the construction of a new structural extension alongside a carefully planned internal reconfiguration to accommodate a new staircase, enabling access to a fully converted loft space. The loft was reimagined as a practical home office with additional storage rooms, providing flexible and efficient use of previously underutilised space.

The new upper-floor extension created a spacious bedroom, a contemporary bathroom, and a new connecting hallway designed to integrate seamlessly with the existing layout and staircase access. On the ground floor, the extension allowed for the creation of a bespoke fitted kitchen, utility room, and dedicated boot room, improving the overall flow and everyday usability of the home. Constructed using high-quality reconstituted stone, the extension was designed to sit harmoniously with the original building and surrounding architecture.

Externally, the project was completed with a carefully detailed stone patio and traditional Cotswold stone retaining walls, enhancing both the practicality and aesthetic appeal of the outdoor space. The finished result is a well-balanced extension that combines traditional materials with modern living requirements, delivering a cohesive and highly functional family home.
